All Four Stars

Hey again,
It's Peanut again, reviewing a second book. It's called All Four Stars. This book was recommended to me by my best friend, A.G and I borrowed it from her. (I had, in fact, gifted it to her in the first place without knowing.*)


This book explains the life of a wanna-be chef, Gladys Gatsby. By the age of 11, she develops a passion and talent for cooking. Unfortunately, after a horrendous incident, she is banned from the kitchen forever. However, by pure accident, Gladys sends in a paper for an essay writing contest (that is not the accident) but her paper reaches the hand of the editor who then employs Gladys to be the new food critic for her newspaper. Now, Gladys has to sneak into the brand new restaurant Classy Cakes, to write a review. Can she do it?

Introducing All four Stars, a fun-filled story and a must read for all those from the age of 9-12. I really think this is one of my favourite books so far. Gladys is a remarkable and likable character who loves doing things that grown-ups usually do. I could not put the book down and was reading it until way past by bedtime.
And because every book deserves it's P.M: ★★★★ out of 5. This book deserves all 4 stars.

* My mom knows a book store manager and just asks him to wrap up books for a 10 year old child or a 7 year old and so on...... you get the idea. Well, sometimes he doesn't specify them so I end up giving things to people that I don't even know about.

Wonder

Hallo everybody,  Here's another book review on the book Wonder. Even before I read the book, I knew it was a big thing. Everyone in my school and class had heard of it. This book was constantly recommended to me by others so I finally went and issued it from my school library. (someone had always borrowed it.) I didn't know what to expect, but I still got it. Wonder is an amazing story which contains the message that one should not judge others by their face. Here's a summary: Wonder is a heart-touching story about a boy named August Pullman, who has been born with facial differences and starts going to school for the first time. It's not easy at all, but with new friends, Auggie might just pull through. This book is written in the disguise of different people in the story, each telling their own side.
