Hip Hop Nature Boy and Other Poems

Hello everyone!
This book has been sent to me by the publishers and I really liked it. Here's a review.

This book is a collections of poems by Ruskin Bond. Though there are a few sad poems but there are more happy ones. Some of my favourites are Demon Driver, The Cat Has Something To Say and If Mice Could Roar . All these poems are the happiest and funniest in the book. (I even copied them and stuck them all over my notebooks. They are absolutely brilliant.) Though a few are a little far-fetched and there are some words I could not make sense of, this book is still a must-have for the kids who love poems or those who read them for good fun (like me). I did however wish the author to be a little less sentimental at times (that means sad). I don't think I know anyone who likes sad poems. 10 yr olds are more like the happy,bouncy type. Nevertheless, as there are more happy poems than the sad ones, this little thing did not bother me much. Yes, a few are boring, but there are only 2 or 3 of those so you can overlook it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely recommend it to others. Here's and excerpt from If Mice Could Roar:

Hallo everybody, Here's another book review on the book Wonder. Even before I read the book, I knew it was a big thing. Everyone in my school and class had heard of it. This book was constantly recommended to me by others so I finally went and issued it from my school library. (someone had always borrowed it.) I didn't know what to expect, but I still got it. Wonder is an amazing story which contains the message that one should not judge others by their face. Here's a summary: Wonder is a heart-touching story about a boy named August Pullman, who has been born with facial differences and starts going to school for the first time. It's not easy at all, but with new friends, Auggie might just pull through. This book is written in the disguise of different people in the story, each telling their own side.
