Hi, Peanut here,
This is a new review for the first book in the Percy Jackson series. Rick Riordan is one of my favourite authors. He describes everything so vividly and I really wished the book would go on.
This book explains the life of a boy named Percy, who realizes that his father is one of the Greek Gods. Percy is now in more danger than ever, with monsters attacking from every corner and the main God, Zeus, accusing him of being the thief of his precious lightning bolt. To stop a huge war, Percy must return the bolt to Olympus before the deadline. With all this on his mind and Hades looking for revenge- hoo boy! This is going to be one tough summer.
What I really liked about the book was the fact that Percy is a really good character who you know is going to make the story interesting. And it is! Percy and his friends really get into a lot of stick situations and have to think quick
Rating on the Peanut Meter: ★★★.5 out of 5
